Defi exists because tradfi is broken. If a few people hold the key and you can't see the business logic at work, then sooner or later someone does something they are not supposed to, or someone else forces their hand. The system breaks, and you pay for it.
Only when everything is open can you control and verify what you use, with no small group able to break things.
It's harder to build here, but it's only a matter of time. Defi will be the best place to trade. And the best trading tools will be in your hands, not on someone else's AWS server.
